Disclaimer: I have not personally ridden this route.

Can be quite bleak in inclement weather, as the route is exposed. A great bit of downhill to finish on. The route can be done in either direction.

Great route and hard work in places, the climb up to bleakhope can be tricky when wet and as mentioned Alnham churchyard good for lunch followed by a good climb out of prendwick and onto Ingram houghta gave this trail 4 stars about 1 year ago

Bleakhope and Alnham

A strenuous extension to the Ingram and Alnham route. The first section is on tarmac but is a scenic tour up the Breamish Valley. After Low Bleakhope it can be boggy, and the trail is often hard to follow on the ground. Alnham provides a good lunch stop!
