Head to Rothbury. Go through Rothbury on the B6341 turning off for Harbottle and Alwinton. Carry on through Alwinton to Linbriggs and Shilmoor until you arrive at Barrowburn.

There is a Tea room in the buidings across the river but not sure that is open all the time.

Description:-

Epic ride with climbs up to the Border at Windy Gyle providing views of both England and Scotland. Following part of the Pennine Way across the tops and parts of the OS marked Border County Ride before dropping down into valley and back to Barrowburn.
