Is it still possible to get through the Ben Alder lodge going north east along the loch side from Ben Alder cottage back to Dalwhinnie? Thanks

Not a great route by any means. Better to head over the Bealach Dubh down to Ben Alder Cottage then along Loch Ericht than that horrible hike a bike up to the col between Ben Alder and Beinn Bheoil. ...

Has it all. A good test of machine and stamina in wild country . Its a long day out so don't let the easy start fool you. Later parts become un-cyclable and you will need to walk and carry as n...
