Description:-
Leaving the car park you cycle along the road until you reach a turn off into some woodland on the right. There is a forestry commision sign and there is also another car park in here which can be used as well. Turn left at the entrance to the car park and continue up the forest road. Soon after turn left onto a hard packed trail which climbs up the hill to a maze. Then follow the path up to the forest road and go through the gate. Continue up more steeply until you reach the top of the hill. From here you can see the Knockfarrel hill-fort on your left. Follow the track down to the road and continue along the road to a T-junction. Turn right and carry on to an old farm building where a singletrack climbs through a gap between two fields. Climb up this and take the first left through a gate and continue along this trail. It climbs up the side of Cnoc Mor and skirts the summit. Continue round making sure you stay right until after you have gone down a steep section. From here you follow a wall down the hill. Stay by the wall until after you have passed a building. The path turns right and becomes muddy and rooty. There are some very annoying bridges in this section which are a right angles to the path but other than that it is fine. This path returns you to the forestry commision car-park. Return to the road and head back to the car-park.
