Neep route 1

This is the standard route used by the ‘Ecurie Neep’ MTB club.

This trail starts in the FC car park and goes round the edge of the forest. This route uses some walking paths which are made from smooth hardcore. But these sections connect lots of nice singletrack through the trees. Most of it is very natural forest floor mulch with lots of roots and the occasional jump and drop. At Tag1 this route has you crossing the main road and going down some nice built jumps and drops before coming back across to go round the rest of the forest.

Neep Route 2

This is one of the standard routes used by the ‘Ecurie Neep’ MTB club.

This GPS file was captured on a wet night ride, so we were actively avoiding anything which was too boggy. There are some bits where you can’t avoid a bit of mud, but some sections we might normally do were missed out here.

The trail is a mixture of fire roads, walkers paths, and through the trees naturally evolved single track. It is all very natural and can be quite muddy (as per above). But there are several sweet little descents on fast and flowing singletrack. The Neeps use this as a regular winter ride (as it is close to Aberdeen).
