From the A697 take the B6351 and follow into Kirk Yetholm. When you reach Kirk Yetholm take the left turn and follow the Pennine way up the hill and park at the bottom just after the cattle grid. This makes for a brutal start but gets that hill out of the way early on.

Description:-
A nice ride in a really lovely area. There is a lot of Tarmac on this route but it's worth it for the downhill back to the car.
