From Alford drive towards the Suie, past Tullynessle School. Then approx 1 mile further on, take a left, signposted 'Terpersie'. Drive approx1 mile along this road and park on the grassy area on this side of the small bridge. Room for around 4 cars

Description:-
Approx 1.52 hr hill trail, mainly on old landy tracks. Best in dry weather as the tracks can become wet, muddy and hard going. The descent at the end from the top of Lord Arthur's Hill back to the car is belting.

Done this trail twice, both times on a wet afternoon, but was still good fun. Doing the loop in anticlockwise direction is probably the best way. The climb at the start up to the old quarry is just ... read whole comment...

Description:-
A great Scottish hill trail that is bets in drier weather as can become muddy and quite arduous when wet. Mainly on old Landy tracks, which seem to be used by Grouse beating vehicles. Finishes with a great descent from the top of Lord Arthur's Hill all the way back to the car.
