Although the GPS trail starts further up the hill it would be better to park lower down the road at Tag 10 where there is a car park. Climb up the road and take a left onto the fireroad.. Climb up the hill and look for some singletrack heading off up into the woods at Tag 1. Fairly soon the trail heads downwards and can be technical in the wet. At Tag 2 you join the fireroad by the car park, you will see other trails coming in on the left. Repeat the climb but this time continue up the fireroad and take a right at Tag 3 and again at Tag 4 until you get to the top of Cairn Mon Earn. There is a fairly obvious walkers path heading down the other side at Tag 5. It can be a bit boggy but is good fun. Just before the Slug Road take a left at Tag 6 and rejoin the fireroad. Climb up and either retrace your steps by heading straight on at Tag 7 or take a right to follow the scenic route. You may have noticed on your way out, a singletrack heading off at Tag 8, this actually involves a push up to the top of Mundernal at Tag 9. The descent is rooty and can be a bit sketchy in the wet, but rejoins the fireroad by the car park.
