Description:-
The majority of this route is featured in MBR's Britain's best single track but I've added the best bits of Slaley forest into it as well as Bolts Law descent to make it a bit more gnarly!

The Slaley part and the distance is why I've rated it very hard. Its a tough one but excellent so make sure your well prepared with plenty food and water. You may wish to park at Edmundbyer's and do the road part first while your legs are fresh. It'll make the distance a bit easier.

When on the moor make sure you accurately follow the route and don't stray from the bridleways or the very angry gamekeeper/farmer will chase you.

It can be quite muddy and boggy in lower parts of the forest. Some of its used for greenlaning/trials bikes. An enduro bike would be best suited for this ride.
