Description:-
Very challenging circuit not for the weak and feable.
This ride Inludes two of the toughest climbs in the Peak District. Firstly the ascent to the top of Kinder Scout ( the highest peak in the Peak District) Is the ultimate MTB challenge and covers every terrain on the way up from loose gravel/rocks to steep rocky ascents across streams and up to the top of Kinder Scout.
The Second major climb out of Edale takes you up Chapel Gate and back onto Rushup Edge. Not such a technical ascent however it is extremely tough, the length and gradient makes for a real challenge, particularly after Kinder and Jacobs Ladder !
I would go as far to say two of the toughest off road climbs in all of England. If you think that's bullshit then have a go!
This ride also includes the infamous Jacobs Ladder, a very difficult, dangerous, technical descent. Not for the faint hearted or anyone without big balls.
A long challenging but rewarding ride. Views from the top of Kinder are well worth the pain! As is the descent down Jacobs Ladder!
