Description:-
Singletrack through woodlands. Mainly red, swooping and flowing trails cut by local enthusiasts. Many short, very steep ascents make this physically demanding. Suggested route is just one of an complex matrix of trails through the woods. SE section (where the trail initially NW cuts away from the canal) incorporates a fun loop with a few black-level bomb holes. Terrain predominantly sandy earth, with occasional muddy bits. Occasionally rooty but nothing too treacherous. Absolutely ace fun - I live in the north east and look forward to coming down to this area for the riding.
