| Just had the unfortunate pleasure of cycling/walking this horrendous route. Conditions weren't perfect as there has recently been quite a lot of rain and there is also a lot of snow melting, so conditions were very soggy under foot.The route is fine until where Tag 11 is mentioned in the guide. From here, the route was unrideable until we reached Cam Bhealach. After we left the plantation, the path disappeared and we spent the next 2 hours pushing our bikes across the heather and grass up to the summit. The saving grace was the fast, steep descent down the coffin road. |
