| There are better ways to spend your time in Torridon than on this loop. It start fine with a nice gentle pootle down the road, sharp-ish road climb then a nice off-road climb for a few miles. Unfortunately the hike-a-bike then starts, wee measured it at over 3 miles rather than 2km. When you finally get to the end of that you are met with water-bar after water-bar all the way down. I've never actually seen so many coming so frequently before, sometimes just 6-10ft apart. This may actually be due to trail "maintenance" that's ongoing rather than a poor guide here, either way it means you don't really get the reward you deserve for the earlier efforts. Certainly wouldn't bother going back. |

| This was a great day out. Unfortunately there's a tough carry in the middle, but the finish you get through Coire Dubh Mor more than makes up for it. Amazing scenery into the bargain, if you remember to stop on the descent to take a look ! |
