Great trail. The descent to Annat is great. Will have to get back soon and do the descent through Coire Lair. |

Did this a couple of years ago and rode up from Coulags over to Torridon and then back over (Torridon has about an 8-mile road section - pleasant enough). From emmory, the climb up to the 'top' didn't feel that bad...think the last 15 minutes involved a push but the ride up to that point wasn't traumatic. Descent down to Torridon is utterly brilliant. |

Don't know where Easan Dorcha was but we reckoned going East at Bealach na Lice would have made a truly epic descent from Coire Lair to Achnashellach. Would mean missing the Annat descent though. |

neilneep - What's the route like from the bridge over the Easan Dorcha to Drochaid Coire Lair, can you ride it, or is it a push / carry ( character building ! ) section ? I've also got it into my head to carry on from Drochaid Coire Lair westwards into Coire Lair, then Coire Grannda, and over Bealach Ban to join up with the original route at Bealach na Lice. Did you notice what that route looked like from Drochaid Coire Lair before you headed to Achnashellach by any chance ? Anyone else been here ? |

A great trail, but for an even better ride turn left at point 5 and follow the trail up past the waterfall to Drochaid Coire Lair. The descent from here down to Achnashellach is fantastic - quite steep and technical but well maintained, one of my favourite descents in Scotland. |
