What can I say? This route has everything - the climbs are fairly brutal, but as with all the routes in Torridon, you get back what you put in. The descent to Achnashellach just leaves you breathless. You just want to go back and ride it again and again. Descent down to Annat feels softer in comparison, but it's still leagues above most other riding in the UK. You'll come away with a hunger for more. |

Excellent ride, everything about it is so good, we we're a little lazy cause we shuttled the long road stretch from annat to coulin forest as we met friends there and had two vehicles, good way to do the last time i did that stretch at the end of a ride with a snowy headwind... not good... as others say the descent to Achnashellach is great, in my opinion not better that the descent to Annat, both are superb just slightly different riding on each.. all in all an amazing day out |

Mega!! As others have said, the descent to Achnashellach on this route is perhaps better than the Annat one, if you like them steep (ish) and technical. The beauty of this route is you get both. Almost all rideable on the climbs, except for a few intermittent short sections. |

I've only ridden it once but the extra descent to Achnashellach added in the "alternative Torridon" route was probably the best of the trip - so definitely don't miss it! It is steeper and more technical than the long descent down to Annat, but for most people it will require a bit of hike-a-bike to get there! |
